The first of Haydn’s charming Opus 11 trios, originally for flute, violin and cello (with figured bass), arranged here for flute choir. I have, basically, given the flute part to flute 1 and the cello part to the bass flute while sharing the violin part between the other flutes and adding parts where necessary. Everyone is kept busy, and this is great fun to play, as well as being an excellent concert piece.
