I have arranged these six short piano pieces in the form of a short suite. All are arrangements of sketches from the early 1760s, mostly from the London Sketchbook (KV 15). All KV numbers are supplied. Most people looking at some of the originals will suspect, as did Fritz Spiegl some 40 years ago, that the young Mozart heard something in his head that was somewhat different from the sounds produced by the notes he wrote - that in fact he had, at least on occasions, sketched a short score for a chamber piece. Hence these flute arrangements, with fillings-in of my own.
