Another arrangement for the Horsley Family String Ensemble (three violins, viola, and cello); this one featuring the viola as soloist. I have written the viola part down an octave and added a third violin to Bach’s original which mainly mirrors the cello, but also has additional harmony as needed. Even down the octave, the viola melody still is able to sing through, giving the viola a chance to shine on this well-known melody.
