The Alleluja from Mozart’s motet "Exultate, jubilate", K. 165, was written in 1773 in Milan, Italy, for the famous castrato Venancio Rauzzini. It was scored for high voice, two oboes, two horns, strings and organ. I have reduced the score to soprano and string quartet. Most of the string parts are pretty much as Mozart wrote them with the exception of mm. 95-107, where they were rescored to cover critical oboe parts at that point. The Alleluja has often been requested at weddings. If you enjoy it, check out my more than 70 arrangements (mainly for string quartet) and compositions below, or visit my web site at: http://members.sibeliusmusic.com/jjacklich/
