You are purchasing high quality sheet music PDF files suitable for printing or viewing on digital devices.I have long had a string quartet version of this on Sibeliusmusic.com. Recently a friend needed a version for keyboard alone. This arrangement for harpsichord is the result.
Jeremiah Clarke’s "The Prince of Denmark March" is often falsely attributed to Henry Purcell as "Trumpet Voluntary in D" (because the piece was once published among a collection of works including those of Purcell). Jeremiah Clarke (1674-1707) originally wrote this work for harpsichord in 1700 (published in London in 1702). He later adapted it and included it in a suite for wind instruments. I have arranged it elsewhere on Sibeliusmusic.com for strings (with optional trumpet doubling the violin I part–the trumpet parts in both C and B-flat, although not listed in the score, are included in the set of instrumental parts). The piece is often requested for weddings.
