The "Waltz King", Johann Strauss, Jr. (1825-1899), wrote 17 3-act operettas. This set of waltzes is based on themes from the operetta "Das Spitzentuch der Knigins" written in 1880. Care has been taken to have page turns in the instrumental parts occur at rests or at other natural breaks (e.g., between two waltzes within the set).
