Originally written for solo violin and piano, I first orchestrated this for string orchestra and solo violin for Jorge Soto who was scheduled to perform the work with the Imperial Valley Symphony in February, 2003 (See the solo violin and string orchestra version below.) Since then I have made this version for TWO solo violins, dividing the original solo part with its double stops into two parts to be played by less experienced soloists. If you enjoy this check out my web site at: http://members.sibeliusmusic.com/jjacklich/ where you will find more than 70 arrangements and compositions, mainly for string quartet/string orchestra.
