Carulli was a celebrated guitar virtuoso and composer for his instrument. The 18 Petits Morceaux, Op. 211, are simple progressive studies full, like all of Carulli's works, of good tunes. I have adapted nos 10 (Poco allegretto quasi andante) and 6 (Moderato) for recorders. The original keys are retained; the descant keeps the treble line of the guitar stave and the bass keeps, by and large, the lowest of the original's lines. I have expanded the harmonies by adding treble and tenor recorder lines. Tempo suggestions and dynamics are editorial. All in all they are two delightful pieces for a small group to enjoy.
