Here is another setting for full orchestra giving the orchestra something more to do than play the ’hymnbook’ version for every verse. The MC or conductor should tell the audience that there are intro’s before each verse and that they should watch the conductor to bring them in!
All these ’Carols for Audience’ have been played by the Kent Concert Orchestra at their annual Christmas Concerts in the Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury and now by various orchestras all over the world due to the wonder of Sibelius.

REVIEW: Excellent writing! Great bargain! This is one of three of the Royse carol arrangements I used recently and all of them are wonderful. Not only are they a bargain to purchase, but they are creative arrangements which work very well with leading the audience singing.
