Here is a moderately easy arrangement for full orchestra giving the orchestra something better to play than just a straight forward hymn book version. It requires little rehearsal time and the conductor, or MC, should tell the audience that there are intros. to the verses and a change of key for the last verse to look out for, but just watch the conductor to bring them in and there should be no problem! All these ’Carols for Audience’ have been played by the Kent Concert Orchestra at their annual Christmas Concerts in the Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury and now by various orchestras all over the world due to the wonder of Sibelius.
