Bach's famous A Minor violin concerto is here arranged for professional brass quintet. The players will need solid stamina, particularly the trumpeters, who carry much of the melodic material. The second trumpeter could use a flugelhorn in the slow middle movement, in which the tuba has the famous bass pattern.
