You are purchasing high quality sheet music PDF files suitable for printing or viewing on digital devices.This is an arrangement for brass of Francesco Geminiani's orchestration of Corelli's famous Op. 5 No. 12 violin piece, 'La Follia', a set of variations on perhaps the most famous of 18th Century ground bass lines. Although it could be performed 'straight through', it is also possible to choose a smaller set of variations from within the twenty divisions of this set. There's plenty of registral, textural and timbral variety, and the piece should provide an enjoyable challenge for high-school, good amateur and professional brass ensembles.
