This five-movement suite featuring movements from Couperin's 6th Suite of harpsichord pieces has been arranged for brass quintet. A piccolo trumpet would make thiings easier in the final movement. I have endeavoured to leave sufficient breathing and rest points for all five players, and also tried not to tax the performers too severely, as though this suite was part of a professional concert. Ornamentation has been included, as French baroque was often heavily ornamented with mordents, turns and trills - these are designed to be complemented by the players, within the boundaries of 18th Century style.
