You are purchasing high quality sheet music PDF files suitable for printing or viewing on digital devices.Duo No. 15 is known as Duo concertant No14, 2nd movement. This Adagio is a interesting ending to the numbered duo series. It is has a binary form with a cadenza between the main parts. The work was probably first published on Christmas of 1904 in the Augsburg Guitar Club's Freie Vereinigung für das Förderung guter Guitaremusik Jahrgang No.1, Heft VI. Evidence from the Duo concertant No. 14, 2nd mvt "printer's copy" indicates that the words "concertant" and "2nd movement" are an after thought, of an editor, perhaps Otto Hammerer, and not Darr. Also, the number 5 of Duo No. 15 has been altered with a 4 written over it. For more information on Darr see my DMA research paper "ADAM DARR (1811-1866) THE CAREER AND WORKS OF A GERMAN ROMANTIC GUITARIST AND ZITHERIST."
