This might not be quite something to play during a church service, but could feature as an encore in an organ recital, or as part of the programme for a concert-organist playing overall lighter material. It would also suit an electronic organ, like the old Yamaha EL90, which has a pedal-board of an octave and a half’s compass. For any electronic organ that has just the single octave, some transposition will be necessary, but this would not be too much of a problem, given that nearly all of the ’action’ is in the manuals’ part.
In order to take advantage of the lowest pedal-note being C, I have transposed the piece up a semitone into F major, which then allows for tonic and two dominants (upper and lower) even on a single-octave pedal-board.
