"LCM 840" is another work that explores overlapping rhythmic and melodic lines in different meters. The title refers to 840 being the least common multiple of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 (all of the meters used). After 840 beats, all of the rhythms line up again on beat one, for the first time since the beginning.
