(1999) For any number/combination of keyboard instruments.
"Four to Fifteen" was composed during the first semester of my senior year of college. It is one of my earliest major works exploring overlapping rhythmic and melodic lines, in different meters. It is what eventually led to my "Drumming" and "Modes" pieces. "Four to Fifteen" was performed, as a trio, in the Composers Concert during that same semester. The mp3 is a performance of "Four to Fifteen" using bells, vibraphone, marimbas and chimes, for three players. It is only one possible version.
