Carulli was a celebrated guitar virtuoso and composer for his instrument. The 18 Petits Morceaux, Op. 211, are simple progressive studies full, like all of Carulli's works, of good tunes. I have already uploaded nos 1 to 6 and 7-12 in arrangements for 3 concert flutes; the present score completes the set with nos 13-18. The original keys are retained, as are the harmonies. The mainly two parts of the original have been expanded to include a third line, and I have tried to remain as faithful as possible to Caruli's original while hoping to produce pieces that are appropriately flute-like. In the case of no 18, this has meant rewriting the demisemiquaver arpeggios so that they fall the more readily under the flute player's fingers. Tempo suggestions and dynamics are editorial.
