You are purchasing high quality sheet music PDF files suitable for printing or viewing on digital devices."O Holy Night" (also known as "Cantique de Noël") is a well-known Christmas carol composed by Adolphe Adam in 1847 to the French poem "Minuit, chrétiens" (Midnight, Christians) by poet Placide Cappeau (1808–1877). The carol reflects on the birth of Jesus as humanity's redemption. Unitarian minister, John Sullivan Dwight translated the song into English in 1855. This version follows the original in being arranged for solo voice and guitar, as opposed to organ. The full score (14 pages) has parts for voice and guitar and a version in C major which is easier to sing and play as well as notes on the composition and the lyrics in French and English for all three verses. You may buy just the guitar and voice in the original key of Eb major if you wish.
