My late brother Jonathan FeBland (196-2017) was a prodigious composer, polymath, intellectual, bridge player and humourist. He devoted his entire life to music, creating many outstanding pieces that stand the test of time.
Because of the mental health issues he experienced, he was not able to develop a commercially successful life as a composer but he maintained an iron willed discipline, constantly driving himself on to compose and arrange, even as he endured health issues towards the untimely end of his life.
Jonathan FeBland (b.1960) trained at the Royal Academy of Music, London (1978-82).

You can see posthumous recordings of his work here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCEV1y15Jb-dkLh6owPiVVyQ
FeBland's work has been published and in print with Universal Edition since 1986. His music is available all over the world as published sheet music and has been so continuously since June, 1986. With many students reporting a love of the music that he wrote to help them learn how to play.
You can hear some of his recordings on spotify and also hear some fun talks by the great man himself here:
