You are purchasing high quality sheet music PDF files suitable for printing or viewing on digital devices."Vegan Wagyu Wraiths" is the second solo classical piece in the "Wraiths" series, NOT to be confused with any of my other sinister series, that pay tribute to Fiends (not friends) and other horrible beasts of the night and to the marvelous influences, much to many's dismay and chagrin, they have had on my person and my composing.
"Vegan Wagyu Wraiths" is based on two whole tone ostinati in counterpoint, one employing harmonics in the upper voice and the other providing the bass.
At bar 13 the whole one scale is fleshed out a bit adding a D flat and an E flat to the A, B, and F that were already present. The A flat and E being mere decorations.
At bar 19 an isorhythmic 12/8 figure is introduced to the mix creating a 12/8 + 5/4 (10/8) polyrhythm.
At bar 25 there is a modulation to a new whole tone set (G, A, B, C#). And shortly after at bar 31 a diminution of the motif in one voice, then the other with accompanying, horrifying and very nasty decorative counterpoint.
Though the "Wraiths" pieces share little thematic material yet make the same sinister and haunting aura about them. I sincerely hope that you enjoy this piece as well as the other "Wraiths" pieces.
