You are purchasing high quality sheet music PDF files suitable for printing or viewing on digital devices. Some while back, I removed the Wind Band arrangement of The Lone Ar-ranger!, as it is now published in Switzerland.
The arrangement for Brass Quintet has been quite popular, and recently I was asked to make an arrangement for Bassoon Quartet. It therefore seemed an obvious thing to make an arrangement for Wind Quintet, as this is an equally popular instrumental combination.
Devon-based West Winds Quintet will be premiering the work in the 2005/6 series of Gastronomic Evenings of Musical Delight at Kitley House Hotel, Yealmpton, near Plymouth.
The attached photo shows new oboist, Sam Baxter, replacing Derek Kitt, who passed away suddenly, in November, 2005.
I have recently uploaded a version of the original Oboe part, transposed for Bb clarinet, following a request.
Following a number of requests worldwide, I have now uploaded a special non-playing score, which lists, and identifies all the tune fragments used in The Lone Ar-ranger!

N.B. In the present economic climate, a good number of smaller ensembles understandably buy just the set of parts as, in reality, these alone are all that is needed in performance. Equally, a similar number buy both the parts and the full score. To compensate for this, I intend to reduce the cost of the full score by $4, and increase the price of the lead part by $3, a differential that wasn’t available to sellers at the former SibeliusMusic.com.
