I wrote it in just one night during a horror movie in 1990. Playing this music is a thrilling experience: a player should have a rather advanced technique for playing the notes right, but playing this short piece together is much more difficult. My ensemble enjoyed it very much, because, when all notes come together, it's a great piece of music.
November 22, 2007: After 17 years finally the notes after bar 25 came into my conscious. A thrilling experience: not finishing this excellent music, which is as close to me as music can get, felt like loosing something I knew that was somewhere in me. The end became quite complex though.
