This is the well-known recorder sonata from Georg Friedrich H�ndel.
I've heard parts 2 and 4 in many arrangements, including jazzy and techno. All four parts are fun to play and I've had quite some success performing this sonata (for instance, with a trombone accompanying me) to an audience.
Every player that learns to master the recorder comes across these sonatas one way or the other - it is part of the standard repertoire of every recorder player. I think almost every professional recorder performers has recorded this sonata too, including the great Frans Br�ggen who did it splendidly. A must-have this one!
