It's a very different style than what I usually write, because its purpose is also different.
I am rewriting the program notes; I'll put them here after I finished the piece. But in case you're wondering, the entire thing is about sarcasm. The title is an anagram of "not optimistic" and the first movement is an anagram of "happy."
