You are purchasing high quality sheet music PDF files suitable for printing or viewing on digital devices.Written for a "Call for Scores" from the Britten Symphonia, back in 1999, for this non-standard ensemble and advertised though the SPNM. Alas it was not deemed good enough to be performed by them. Looking at it again, 12 years later with a more experience eye, I can see some its shortcomings, hence this 2011 revision.
Wonder if they'll like it now.. :-)
On a structual point, it was a experiment in parts playing in similar but different times to each other. In the original scoring, the first half had no time signature, however a nominal 4/4 was entered in order for a conductor and players to have a common point of referance beat wise.
