’Morning’ from Greig’s incidental music to Ibsen’s ’Peer Gynt’ is very popular, and sounds well on the organ. There are already several organ arrangements of it currently available, but most are either very difficult to play or so simplified that they lose much of the character of the piece. This arrangement succeeds in capturing the essence of the piece without being unduly difficult. Ideally for a 3 manual organ (pipe or electronic) with a full pedal-board, it also works on a small 2 manual instrument.
