"Ave Verum Corpus" is a short Eucharist Hymn dating from the 14th century and is attributed to Pope Innocent VI, which has been set to music by various composers.� The title means "Hail, true body".� Mozart's setting was written to celebrate the feast of "Corpus Christi" and is autographed dated 17 June 1791.
