Jonathan Dimond

Jonathan Dimond has been University-educated in the fields of Classical music and Jazz/improvisation, with a Bachelor degree from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music (Brisbane, Australia) and a Masters and a Graduate Diploma from New England Conservatory (Boston, USA). He has studied composition, arranging, theory and orchestration with Mary Mageau, Gerhard Brophy, Stephen Cronin, Dominique Eade, Lee Hyla, Robert Cogan and Pozzi Escot. Jonathan has also undergone vigorous training in North Indian classical music in India. Jonathan Dimond has received commissions for various formats including theatre, chamber orchestra, Latin ensemble, Jazz ensemble, and world fusion groups.
