At Christmas time, what better way of spending a winters evening than getting 2 pianos / keyboards together, pouring yourselves some Christmas cheer, and enjoying some two piano Christmas pleasure in the form of this reworking of this traditional Christmas Carol ("Girls and Boys, Leave your Toys,…"). I hope you are good at counting! Lots of time signature changes between 2/4 and 3/4 in this quirky little piece, including a section where one piano is clearly playing in 2/4 and the other in 3/4, but it all works out in the end. One of my series of variations on Christmas Carols for 2 pianos 4 hands. Please have a look at my other 2 pianos music too (there are some more carols to play). All of the pieces have been written specifically to be fun to play, and in different styles. I hope you enjoy them.
