Scored for Adult Choir, with full orchestration also available, this number tells us of the incredible love Father showed each of us by sending "His Son, His Precious Son, who came so willingly, humbly, lovingly - without any of earth's splendor" attending His advent. It also describes the humble circumstances of His manger bed with the reapers' cuttings making the bed where the Baby Jesus would lay His head. It was probably the choir's favorite selection from the musical.
