This very poignant selection from the Easter pageant/musical: "As I Have Loved You" - performed many years in our Spokane area and state - has been a deep favorite of those participating in the production, as well as those listening. It speaks of the trials and challenges we face in mortality, comparing them to earthly things like a "searing desert", Raging seas, high mountain peaks, Blinding snows, and more. The words express how our very souls "cry out to Thee, Lord…How much more can I bear? Then, as the sun comes piercing…..I hear the voice of my Father and feel a most infinite peace." Father lovingly declares: "Think thee that I would desert thee? Think thee that I do not care? Know thee that I would not give you more than thou canst bear." Our Sop. soloist all those years, Linda Caple, and our violinist Sean Nanto, bring a dimension that you cannot appreciate from this old VHS recording, but I'm so glad to have it still! Many have expressed to us that this has a very deep, healing power for them when they hear this loving message. We have felt most privileged to have been able to 'pen' these feelings and express them musically.
