You are purchasing high quality sheet music PDF files suitable for printing or viewing on digital devices.On hearing Bach’s evocative ’Sleepers Wake’ chorale at the beginning of Advent somehow always seems to me to set the scene for the approaching Christmas season. Plenty of time to get this ready then! I had thought of combining the chorale melody into the clarinet section but decided on the option of ’the invited soloist’. In this case either Tenor Sax, Baritone Horn, Bassoon or Trombone but not all four! Alternatively a tenor voice could sing the chorale from the original vocal score - I’ve stayed with the original key. This score creates a milestone for me in that it is my 100th score on Sibeliusmusic since starting in 2002.
