This hymn-tune is in a restrained style and, as such, is particularly suited to singing in procession. It was composed at the request of the Reverend Kevin Scully, Rector of Bethnal Green and first sung at St Matthew’s Parish Church on Easter Day 2010.

It seems appropriate to have a tune for Easter that uses only the ’white notes’, white being the liturgical colour of the season. (The consecutive 5ths are intentional, by the way!)

If you use this tune, please do let me know. It has been downloaded nearly 50 times. I love to hear from people who perform my music. Thank you to those of you who have contacted me.
