The tune probably has Irish origins. This quartet version has been arranged for 3 Bb Clarinets and a Bb Bass Clarinet, which could also be played on a Bb Clarinet as well. I’ve used this tune in my Australian Folksong Medley No. 3 for Concert Band. This traditional tune was also featured in the film "The Man From Snowy River".
