The tune probably has Irish origins. This quartet version has been arranged for 4 flutes. I’ve arranged it for Clarinet Quartet and used this tune in my Australian Folksong Medley No. 3 for Concert Band. This traditional tune was also featured in the film "The Man From Snowy River".
