This march was written by Alfred Young under the pseudonym Earl Brigham. Alfred Young was born in Greenwich, London in 1900 and died in 1975. Alfred Young enlisted in the army in 1913, as an under age member of the Durham Light Infantry. In 1924 he was accepted for bandmaster training at Royal Military School of Music at Kneller Hall. He graduated in 1927, as appointed bandmaster of the Duke of Cornwall�s Light Infantry Band. From 1949-1958 he was Director of Music of the Royal Engineers (Chatham). After leaving the Royal Engineers he became Professor of instrumentation at Kneller Hall from 1959-1966. He also composed using the pseudonym Earl Brigham. I have had permission in writing from Alfred Young’s son to make this arrangement. Arranged for Concert Wind Band
