You are purchasing high quality sheet music PDF files suitable for printing or viewing on digital devices.Whilst I was living in St Petersburg, Conductus Vocal Ensemble was asked to perform at a ceremony for the return of the Tikhvin Icon from a museum abroad, and I composed this Akathist based on an old Church Slavonic text for them to sing. It is in three sections, each section introduced by a solo and followed by a slow, hymn-like multi-layered section.
