Do listen to the mp3 file, which features a real flute, and so is nearer to how it actually sounds.
I wrote this in response to Heather, who is a flute player, and was looking for flute and trombone duets with an easy trombone part to play with her son, who is learning the trombone. This is a revised version. The original was tested out by a trombonist friend who felt that the trombone part was quite easy, but tiring on the lips, as it was a continuous blow with few rests. So I've added some rests to make it more comfortable. I hope that's sufficient. if you try it out, do let me know how you get on with it. Also, check out my other flute and trombone duets with less easy trombone parts, such as Give a Dog a 'Bone and Dreaming.
