I have completed an Honours Bachelor of Music Education at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario and a Bachelor of Education at the University of Western Ontario.
I have experience composing and arranging for a variety of ensembles and recently I have started to work in musical theatre. I have been musical director for productions of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Footloose: The Musical.
My most recent project is called "From Sea to Sky: An Olympic Dream." It follows a story of a person dreaming that they are competing in the bobsled race in the 2010 Vancouver Winter Games. It is now complete and I am actively seeking a group to premiere this work.
My first public premiere was the Main Theme (Prologue) from Shadowed Destiny, on May 28th, 2000, by the Brant Youth Symphony Orchestra. Most recent premiere: A Fateful Journey by the Laurier Wind Ensemble, March 25th, 2007.
I am preparing a recording project which should see my Concerto no. 1 as well as some of my brass quintet arrangements recorded. I hope to have these available shortly.
