Cry of the Brass (Opus 11) is a piece for Brass Choir and optional percussion. It is dedicated to the WLU Brass Choir, and inspired by the story of their struggle for survival.
I recommend that the solo part be played on a Soprano Cornet however Eb trumpet is acceptable. Less skilled bands, or those without access to the Eb instruments, may wish to print a transposed part for piccolo trumpet (Sibeliusmusic should give you this option).
The piece also features the principal players on Horn, Trombone and Euphonium.
I hope to provide a recording of this piece being played by the WLU Brass Choir in the near future.
