In addition to my work as an educator, composer and performer I was the founder and conductor of an experimental women's vocal ensemble in Detroit Michigan. Most recently I've conducted and taught for the department of Religious Activities at The Citadel Military College. I am formally trained in piano, voice, theory, and guitar, and self trained on a number of other folk instruments.

My life mission is encouraging others through the arts.
