Voluntary in C major (arranged here in the key of B-flat Major for large brass ensemble) is originally found in the collected works of Hernry Purcell. However, the authenticity of this work is unknown. It has been attributed to Henry Purcell. This is a festive, joyous work best know by brass players in an arrangement for two trumpets and organ. My arrangement was originally for eight parts: three trumpets, two horns, two trombones, bass trombone and tuba with optional timpani. For my offering here I have added an extra flugelhorn, a euphonium and two extra horn parts. These extra parts can be used as optional.
