I arranged this excerpt of sections of Johannes Brahms glorious Academic Festival Overture, Op. 80 for my best friends wedding - not the movie - my actual best friends wedding back in the mid 1990s. We had a lot of fun with this. It is scored for 3 Trumpets, Flugelhorn (optional as it basically doubles the first Horn Part), 2 horns in F, 2 Trombones, Tuba and Timpani. I think it's pretty effective and fun. A nice little sampling of the work - just some of the good bits. I hope you play it and enjoy it.
