Darksome Night is set for female voices in three parts, concertante oboe and harp, percussion (including celesta) and strings. Found in the Book of Shadows compiled by Gerald Gardner this composition uses the couplet rhyming scheme AABB.
There are four, musically related, companion pieces, including Dance, Lady, Dance and the Song of Amergin, featuring solo tenor, concertante horn and harp. At the moment, performing material, including full score may be had directly from the composer. Please contact him directly.
