The Storm is a piece that follows the events of a terrible storm, which lays waste to the countryside, slaughtering a large section of forest.

The third part, The Cyclone - Slaughter of the Ancients, is about the storm. The howling winds rage and throw themselves without mercy upon the forest. The inhabitants scatter, and leaves and limbs are rent from boughs, which then yield to the wind and fly loose from the soil where they grew. The onslaught continues, when suddenly the furious winds relent. Curious, the survivors creep forward, hestitant at first, but more boldly as the threat of the storm appears to have passed.

Yet as they set about mourning the losses, the stormwind threatens once more, and the great eye which lulled them into complacancy has now moved beyond. The engraged winds of the tropical storm return and set about utterly destroying anything left in its path. Its wrath consumes all.
