"Het goede oude liedje" is part of my 2+2 duets; six years ago I turned it into a quartet in order to play it with the JACD quartet but somehow I never finished it after bar 19. Two days ago Ad van Heuven from GroenLinks Houten asked me if I had music to add to the site (www.groenlinks.nl/lokaal/houten) which gave me a good reason to finish this music by adding two ideas I've had in my head for the past six years.
