Andrew has written this duet for two young saxophone players - one part is for alto sax and the other for the bigger tenor sax. Because he’s learning the sax himself, Andrew has been able to cleverly craft this piece to be comfortable for both players to perform, using easy notes and achievable rhythms. Andrew has written his piece about the Haggis - a mascot of the Scottish nation - and the harmonies which he has chosen are reminiscent of the sound of the Scottish bagpipes.
