You are purchasing high quality sheet music PDF files suitable for printing or viewing on digital devices. These dances come from a full length ballet ’The Emperor’s New Clothes’ written in 1979 for the Oakville School of Dance, Ontario, Canada. The score was written for amateur players. The dances were for the four Cloth Merchants who display their products to the Emperor (Spanish lace in this instance) while a group of dancers entertain the watching courtiers. Of course, the Emperor dismisses them all prefering the ’invisible’ cloth that is being spun especially for him by the scoundrels!
