You are purchasing high quality sheet music PDF files suitable for printing or viewing on digital devices.I wrote this fun jazz/blues piece for class or beginner band. Naturally there are opportunities for improvisation (A blues scale) written in or it wouldn’t be jazz!
There are very simple three note parts for beginner violin, cello, tenor sax/Bb instruments and guitar. More advanced string players could play C melody (violin) and Bass guitar (cello) parts and improvise in the final section if desired!
The piece uses blues riffs (ostinati) in a rockabilly / mainstream style, a la Jules Holland / Oscar Peterson. It features harder parts for electric and acoustic guitars, bass, keyboards and kit. Written as an extension for a wider opportunities pilot programme and intentionally highly differentiated and inclusive.
Listen to the MP3 and I challenge you not to dance!
